Why I Founded Navless

Over the last 10 years, the habits of software buyers have completely changed.

Buyers want to learn on their own, but they don’t want to click through a maze of confusing web pages anymore. They don’t want to hunt for answers, fill out forms, or wait for someone to call them back.

Think about how Spotify suggests music, Netflix suggests shows, and ChatGPT gives you answers right away. That’s what people now expect when they go to a business website: “Just show me what I need, instantly.”

But most websites today still work like they did 15–20 years ago.
Static pages. Drop-down menus. Content hidden away in a “Resources” section nobody visits. It’s old-fashioned, and out of step with how people actually behave.

And it's slowing revenue growth: When impatient visitors can’t find what they’re looking for, they bounce. That means fewer leads, and ultimately, fewer sales.

I saw this problem over and over running product, marketing, and revenue teams. We made great content. Buyers said they wanted to self-educate. And still we kept asking:

  • Why isn’t our content helping us close more deals?
  • Why are website conversions getting worse?
  • How are we going to reverse these trends and accelerate pipeline growth?

Eventually it clicked:

Buyers have evolved, but websites haven’t. What used to be a helpful website is now basically a content prison.

So I started Navless to set content free.

Instead of forcing people to dig around a website, Navless makes the content itself smart enough to find the right person at the right time.

Where We’re Starting

Right now, Navless does one thing extremely well: We give your existing website an AI upgrade.

You don’t have to rebuild anything. No redesign, no big project. Just plug it in, and suddenly your website:

  • Can answer visitors’ questions instantly
  • Shows people the exact content they actually need
  • Allows AI agents to understand and reuse your content
  • Teaches marketers what buyers are really interested in

One small snippet of Navless code drives huge and instant enhancements.

Where We’re Going

We didn’t start Navless to build “another website tool.”
It started from a bigger question: What should content look like in the age of AI?

Our answer: Content should act like an agent.

Meaning content should-

  • Know who it’s for
  • Change based on the situation
  • Recommend the next best thing
  • Learn from every interaction

We envision a future where autonomous content can market itself, everywhere, well beyond the web site.

To realize that future, we are hard at work building an AI-native platform for creating and unleashing self-optimizing, audience seeking content.

To our customers, investors (special thanks to Bonfire Ventures), and early supporters: thank you for your partnership and enthusiasm for what we believe is an exciting and inevitable next step in the evolution of digital marketing.
